What we do

To support and improve schools

We aim to make sure that children can go to religious schools and have a good time, which will encourage them to stay in school and avoid getting in trouble. We do this by funding recreational activities in religious classes. For the older student, we ensure that we offer life skills like entrepreneurship during their religious classes. Youngsters need to be able to have such skills after they finish school to give them hope and a way to survive independently.

We also give out scholarships to people who cannot afford to go to either primary school, high school, or university. We give brighter futures to those who do not think they can get one. We provide new chances for people to make a difference in their life.

Mobilize funds

We know many families who still go to sleep at night without eating, and we know people are willing enough to share what they have to help people out. We would love to help everyone, and anyone have a better life and make sure they have a roof over there heads. If it were up to us, no one in Zanzibar would go hungry or drop out of school because they could not pay. But since we cannot just save the day and be the heroes every day, we collect funds to support families during emergencies and those with either medical or economic situations.

Improving livelihoods

To us, poverty should no be a thing in Zanzibar. We aim to build low-cost houses for families that are in need. When this happens, it will mean that people will have houses to stay in, no sleeping in the corners on dirt. We make sure that we do not just leave you there with things that will sustain you for only a week, but make sure that we find you a small generating income for you to rely on. We need to make sure that after moving you from an emergency state, you can now lift your self and become better by day with your self-generating income.
